The Hawk line is a range of thermal rifle sights built for hunting and night observation. A thermal sight does not amplify light the way night vision does; it reads the heat an animal gives off, which is why it works in complete darkness, in fog and in light rain, and why it picks out animals behind grass or standing crop.
Every Hawk thermal sight comes in one of two sensor sizes, 320 or 640, and one of four lens lengths, 25, 35, 50 and 75 mm. The sensor decides how much detail lands on the animal, the lens trades field of view against reach.
